Help

Progress Share lets you share your personal development updates and get encouragement from others.

1. Create a team

On the home page, enter a team name and a password of at least 4 characters, then select Create. Your team gets its own page where multiple contributors can share updates.

2. Save the URL and password

Your team is accessible to people who know its URL and password. After creating a team, bookmark the page, copy its URL or download the URL as a text file. Keep both the URL and password safe: they cannot be recovered if you lose them.

3. Add a project

Select + New project on the team page, enter a project title and an optional contributor name, then register it. You will be taken to the project page.

4. Post an update

Write an update in the form on the project page. Paste images from your clipboard to insert them at the cursor. Files added with Choose images are previewed below the button and appended to your post. Each image can be up to 5 MB. You can post just text or just images.

5. Notify Discord (optional)

Add a Discord webhook URL in team settings to enable the Post to Discord checkbox. Check it when posting to notify your channel. You can also select Notify Discord on an existing update. Once sent successfully, the action changes to Sent to Discord and cannot be repeated. Failed notifications can be retried.

6. Add reactions

React to updates using the five common emoji buttons, or select + Reaction to browse more emoji. Each click adds a reaction. We do not record who reacted.

8. Edit or delete updates and projects

Select Edit on an update to change its text or images, or Delete to remove it. Delete project in Project settings removes the project and all its updates and reactions. You will be asked to confirm. Deletion cannot be undone.

9. Change team settings

Open Team settings to change the team name, password or Discord webhook URL. Changing the password signs out other browsers and devices, while keeping your current browser signed in. You can also delete the team here.

Frequently asked questions

Q. Can I recover a lost team URL or password?

A. No. The team URL and password are the only way to access your team. Save both using the options shown after creating your team.

Q. Can I restore a deleted team, project or update?

A. No. Review the confirmation carefully before deleting anything.

Q. Can I see who posted an update or added a reaction?

A. Projects can have an optional contributor name. Reactions do not record who added them.

Q. Do I have to attach an image?

A. No. You can post text only, or attach images without any text.

Q. Can I sign in to multiple teams in one browser?

A. Yes. Sessions are managed separately for each team. Signing out of one team does not sign you out of other teams.

Q. What happens if a Discord notification fails?

A. Your update is still saved. Use Notify Discord on that update to retry. After a successful notification, the action changes to Sent to Discord and cannot be repeated.
